People from all areas of life were forced into complete isolation in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, cutting them off from activities, friends, and social situations. Isolation may be very dangerous, especially for people who are predisposed to problems and circumstances that can amplify its effects. Friendships made outside of the context of family, school, and other scheduled events can help people with developmental disabilities, such as cerebral palsy and autism, live more independently. Everyone stayed inside their own homes and avoided visiting friends due to work from home, school from home, and worries about what COVID-19 would do to people who already have health risks.
Learn to Build Lifelong Friendships
All Friends Network was developed by Trevor Kelliher, a young adult who has cerebral palsy. The idea came during the pandemic when all other social contact was shut off for everyone, and provides a free social network and software for those with developmental disabilities who want to make friends. The objective was to design a method for making new acquaintances, strengthening current friendships, and, after the pandemic restrictions were gone, a chance to attend real-world events and occasions to actually meet these new friends. A particular social network for people with cerebral palsy and autism is required to offer a secure setting where people with similar experiences and backgrounds can come together to consider making new acquaintances. Our goal at All Friends Network is to support individuals with developmental disabilities of all ages in focusing on making new friends and forming enduring friendships.
Our social support network’s members can engage and communicate via a free mobile app. The Live Link Network APP is active and completely operational, and is only accessible to All Friends Network subscribers. This aids in excluding people who are unaware of the difficulties and challenges that those with developmental disabilities experience. Bullying and other unfavorable behaviors have been encountered by many who have tried to build lifelong friendships online in more open or public networks. The goal of All Friends Network is to facilitate friendship-building among people with developmental disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, and other. Membership in this genuine network of persons with disabilities is only possible by calling our team directly.
